Solar PV projects currently design and engineered are as follows:
|
|
Project: | Buckley Air Force Base 1MW Solar System |
Location: | Aurora, Colorado |
Description: | Provided electrical engineering/design for the addition of a new 1MW photovoltaic system that was installed at the existing Buckley Air Force base. The electrical service at the base is 13.2KV and the 1MW PV system was connected to the bases 13.2KV medium voltage distribution loop. The 1MW PV system inverters were connected at 480V, 3-phase and connected to a 480V, 3-phase electrical switchboard. The electrical engineering AC single-line diagram and associated equipment sizing was based on preliminary PV single-line drawing provided by SolSource (power connection to DC system). |

Project: | United States Air Force Academy 4MW Solar System |
Location: | Colorado Springs, Colorado |
Description: | Provided conceptual electrical engineering/design for a proposed 4MW photovoltaic system that was to be installed at the existing Air Force base in Colorado Springs. The electrical service was proposed to be connected to Colorado Springs Utilities 12.47KV medium voltage grid. The 4MW PV system inverters were proposed to be connected at 200V, 3-phase. |

Project: | Jefferson County Public Schools 100kW Solar Systems:
|
Location: | Jefferson County, Colorado |
Description: | Provided electrical engineering/design for the addition of a new 100KW photovoltaic system that was installed at existing school buildings located in Jefferson County, Colorado. The electrical service at each school was evaluated and used to interconnect the PV system. The majority of the PV system inverters were connected at 480V, 3-phase and connected to existing 480V, 3-phase electrical switchboards. Some of the schools had a 208V, 3-phase inverter connection. Single line diagram and roof plans were provided for each school PV project and indicated the new power connections to the new PV inverter associated disconnects. A load summary was provided in order to verify loading of the PV addition and indicated the existing building loads. |

Project: | Sheridan Schools 100kW PV Systems:
|
Location: | Sheridan, Colorado |
Description: | Provided electrical engineering/design for the addition of a new 100KW photovoltaic system that was installed at existing school buildings located in Sheridan, Colorado. The electrical service at each school was evaluated and used to interconnect the PV system. The majority of the PV system inverters were connected at 480V, 3-phase and connected to existing 480V, 3-phase electrical switchboards. One school had a 208V, 3-phase inverter connection. Single line diagram and roof plans were provided for each school PV project and indicated the new power connections to the new PV inverter associated disconnects. A load summary was provided in order to verify loading of the PV addition and indicated the existing building loads. |

Project: | Volunteers of America 50kW PV Systems:
|
Description: | Provided electrical engineering/design for the addition of a new 50KW photovoltaic system installed at the existing buildings located across the United States. The electrical service at each building was evaluated and used to interconnect the PV system. Site surveys were provided by our office to verify the interconnects of the PV system. |

Project: | Pepsi Center – Blue Sky Grille PV System |
Location: | Denver, Colorado |
Description: | Provided electrical engineering/design for the addition of a new 10KW photovoltaic system installed at an existing restaurant at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The electrical service at the building was evaluated and used to interconnect the PV system. The building service was 480V, 3-phase but the PV interconnections occurred at the 208V, 3-phase distribution side of the existing electrical service. |
